£1,000 prize in the Cudlipp student award

If you were at college or university last year or this year, you might be interested in the Hugh Cudlipp student award. There is a prize of £1,000 for the winning entry. All you have to do is submit an article, or series of articles, or video, exploring an issue of public interest which 'exemplifies lucid and graphic communication to a wide audience’. It needs to have been published between April 1, 2023 and June 14, 2024. The closing date is June 14 so get your skates on. Cudlipp was a renowned journalist with the Mirror group, serving as editor, editorial director and chairman in the 1950s and 60s and the prize is sponsored by the Daily Mirror. More details are here.
