Mail is looking for American trainees

I spent the last two weeks interviewing young people for the Daily Mail and MailOnline editorial training scheme in London. We saw almost 100 wannabe trainees. There is certainly a lot of talent and determination out there and whittling them down to a final shortlist is going to be tough. Applications for the UK scheme are closed and our attention now turns to the recruiting for the US scheme. If you are a budding journalist who has an American passport, this could be the opportunity for you.

The 2016 New York DailyMail.com trainees

We took 14 trainees on in New York last year and all are now working away at DailyMail.com. We are interviewing in New York between March 28 and April 1, at Northwestern University in Chicago on April 3 and 4 and in Missouri on April 5 and 6. If you have what it takes to work for the world’s biggest English-language newspaper website get your application to sue.ryan@dailymail.co.uk as soon as possible and no later than March 15.
