Have a crack at the newsquiz

There were clearly some bleary eyes doing last week’s newsquiz at New Year as the scores were well below average. The top solo scorers were Toby Brown and Tony Smith with 19, ahead of Gavin Devine and Robert Rea on 17 and Marguerite Turner on 16. The top teams were Bruce and Sarah Hayward with 20. Maura and Phil Parsons scored 19, Team Swindle 18 and Adam Batstone and Lucy Thorpe 17. Here is this week’s newsquiz, the first of 2022. As usual there are 25 questions about the week. Give it a go and let me know your score.
