Time to tackle the newsquiz

The top solo scorer in last week’s newsquiz was George Mann with 22, ahead of Robert Rea, Tony Smith and Hilary Scott on 19. Marion Fountayne, Jayme Bryla and Toby Brown all scored 18 and Johnny Jenkins scored 17. The top team was the Global Newsroom with Alicia Edwards, Chris Golds, Tim Humphrey and Simon English who scored an impressive 24, ahead of King’s Head drinkers Peter, Amanda, Kevin and George and Maura and Phil Parsons and Adam Batstone, Lucy Thorpe and the Deal Massive who all scored 20.
