Designs on the Memorial Cup ...

I have been having fun over the last few weeks putting together the programme for a charity football match being played at Selhurst Park next Saturday (May 29). It is the Mark Milsome Memorial Cup between the film crews who are working on Indiana Jones and a TV series with the working title Essex. Mark was killed while filming a car stunt in Ghana in November 2017. The Mark Milsome Foundation was set up in his memory and it helps support young people who do not have the contacts or education to a break into the film and TV industry. The foundation also offers health and safety courses. The first memorial cup game was held in 2019. This year it is being held at the Crystal Palace ground on Saturday May 29, kick off 2pm.
I got involved, along with my youngest son Thom, because eldest son Jack is part of the Indiana Jones crew. With help from Andy Woodcock, Harry Bowers and my colleague Mike Brough we wrote, designed and printed the 28-page match programme which is full of information about Mark, profiles and pictures of all the players, quizzes and puzzles and it doubles up as a raffle ticket.
It is a really good cause so if anyone fancies coming to the game you can buy tickets, at £10 each, here. We have access to the FanZone after the game - for food, beers and the Champions League Final if you fancy it. Look forward to seeing you there (and in the bar afterwards).
