Old hacks tackle the newsquiz

Old hacks reunion: Pat Pilton, Mike Watson, Phil Swift
and me at Wright Brothers in Soho yesterday.
They only got six questions wrong. Can you do better?

The best individual scorer in last week's newsquiz was Janet Boyle with 19. The top team were the drinkers in the Three Legs (Peter and Stacey Gunthorp, Les and Nicky Castell and Bryan Booth) with a best-ever 21. This week I was at a milestone birthday lunch at Wright Brothers in Soho for Pat Pilton, former managing editor of the Daily Mirror. We were joined by other Fleet Street stalwarts Mike Watson and Phil Swift. A real old codgers' reunion. Inevitably we did the quiz (helped by Catherine Evans) and they scored 15 out of 21 (I hadn't written all 25 questions at that point). Here's the complete quiz - as usual 25 questions about the week. Give it a go and let me know how you get on.
