Have a crack at the newsquiz

Last week's newsquiz saw a record-breaking score of 24 by Phil and Maura Parsons. The previous highest team score was 23, so hats off to them ... excellent news knowledge. The top solo scorer was Liz Gerard with 20, narrowly ahead of Janet Boyle on 19.5 and Sam Neve on 19. Other high scorers were Ed Mortimer on 17.5 and Tom Savage and Toby Brown both on 17. Strong team scores came in from Adam Batstone and Lucy Thorpe on 18.5, The Roberts Family on 18 and Bruce and Sarah Hayward on 17.5.
