The top solo in last week’s newsquiz was George Mann with a score of 22, ahead of Janet Boyle on 21, Robert Rea on 20 and the Rev Leon on 18. The top team was the Barnard Castle FOC of Bill, Carole, Sue and Trev with 23, ahead of Mary, Tim and George on 22, Jackie, Peter and Sarah on 21, the Penmans including Daisy on 20, Adam Batstone and Lucy Thorpe on 19.5 and Maura and Phil Parsons on 19.
