Interactive before and after earthquake pictures
Here's a simple but hugely effective idea from news.com.au ... interactive before and after pictures of the Christchurch earthquake using Google's photographs. There must be countless ways newspapers can adapt this, particularly for nostalgia pictures. It is done using JQuery, a JavaScript plugin and is pretty straightforward to use.
